Devil’s Dill Sandwich Shop: A Delicious Haven for Sandwich Enthusiasts

Superb customer service! Their sandwiches are incredibly mouthwatering. Went with family we tried #1- #6 and they were all hands down delicious! They also sell deli pickles, a great variety of potato chips, drinks and German potato salad. Which our family also indulged in. Great music to boot.

A+ service, recommended the #4 to me. Took the sandwich next door and ate it at No Fun with no issue. Not a ton of inside seating, but you're there for the sandwich, not to sit and hangout. That can be done next door. Took about 5 minutes for our 6 sandwiches to come out - will be back again!

The place is t great for sit down dining there are some tables outside but limited and dirty/not maintained. Okay with that said, just get your food Togo, because their sandwiches are AMAZING. I had to split mine, they are a good size for sure. So yummy and it was very fast too, we didn't need to wait long, the staff was super quick and friendly. They also sell day old bread at a pretty dang good price. So they are keeping the bread fresh.

Love the sandwich's, and service is very quick even during busy times! Not a perfect score because the cookies did not taste fresh, but still very worth a trip for lunch or dinner.

I picked up lunch for myself and a couple friends right when they opened at noon. The phone started ringing with more call-in orders immediately, so this seems like a popular spot. I ordered four sandwiches (and only got pics of three). The total came out to ~$50 or ~$12.50 per sandwich. You order at the counter and, while there are two small picnic tables outside, mostly the sandwiches are to go. Overall I thought they were good sandwiches - filling, good flavors, and a variety of options on the menu.

These guys got me thinking about a tuna sandwich... ...and it's mostly because I'm very occasionally unwilling to pay $12 for a bacon & kale sandwich.

This was one of the first sandwich shops people told me about when I moved here. One of the best things about them is how late they are open. Some of the best late night munchies for sure! It's a pretty basic counter sandwich shop and I got mine to go. I ordered the No. 7, which is the vegan version of the No. 1. It's seitan with BBQ sauce and the Asian slaw. The flavors on this sandwich make for a nice break from the usual deli options. The bread was good, but not amazing. The sandwich is not huge, but it's priced right. They have a few options for sides with German potato salad seeming to be a staple. Stop by day or night for a reasonably priced sandwich. Service was quick!

Having just finished binge-watching The Bear on Hulu last night, I think I was primed to enjoy this meal more than I otherwise would. But still. It was legit. The vibe is a little run down. Rustic. Local. Hole-in-the-wall. Unpretentious. Not trying to impress. The focus is on the food. The craft. That's the feeling I got. And it's the feeling I want to have. It added to the experience for me. The sandwich was good. Starting with the bread. It was some variant of ciabatta. I'm not culinary enough to really describe why it is good, but it was good. Very soft. Easy to chew. But like, not too soft. A little grainy. You can taste the flower a little bit. Just a little though, not in an offputting way. I liked it. I liked the bread overall. It may seem like not a big deal, but I think it's a huge component of the sandwich. The meat was good too. Not dry. The pieces weren't too big or too small. No chunks of fat that you can't too. A few fattier pieces that melt in your mouth which was awesome. The sauce was pretty good too, although it was a little too sweet for me. And oily. Granted, I asked for the sesame slaw to be left off. I think if it were included it would have been the perfect contrast: a little crunch and acid to cut through the meaty, bready and oily other components. It was also only $13 or so. Nowadays, that's actually a bargain. Especially for a place that is a step or two above in terms of quality and execution. And they're open late. Also hard to find. I'll definitely be back for more.
